Schlossberg will get one of the seats slotted for private citizens on the America 250 Commission as Schumer, a Brooklyn Democrat, claimed “there’s no better person” to go toe to toe with President Trump and his supporters on the panel.
“Why am I putting Jack there? We know that Donald Trump will try to aggrandize the whole thing and make it part of him and his ego,” the New York senator claimed in a social media video next to the 32-year-old political scion. “There’s no better person to push back on that than you, Jack.”
