Mia O’Brien, a Liverpool University law student, was reportedly nabbed with a stash of cocaine in October and has since been held in Dubai’s infamous Central Prison, which is known for its inhuman conditions, overcrowded cells and brutal guards. After pleading not guilty to the drug charges, a judge convicted the blonde wannabe lawyer during a one day hearing in July.
