YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA Southwest Airlines pilot stuck on a delayed flight from New York City to Dallas vented to passengers about how the government shutdown is crippling air travel. Video shows him urging travelers to “call your senator” as he explains why their flight will sit on the runway waiting to take off, noting TSA delays and FAA-mandated flight reductions. The pilot says in the video: “I don’t really care what your political persuasion is, but you should really call your senator …. It’s frustrating, it’s really frustrating for me, because right now it’s going to cost about two hours of our lives on the ground before we even take off, spend all that gas, all that money. And it just rolls into the rest of this system.”
