Safwan Islam, 26, plowed his car into a tree after reportedly suffering a medical episode behind the wheel while driving along Route 27 near Franklin Township, NJ, WABC reported.
He was still unconscious when his cell phone pinged 911 thanks to the “Call After Severe Crash” feature, which automatically calls emergency services following a 20-second countdown.
