2:08Now PlayingOklahoma State Trooper Eric Burchett was responding to a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the road when the driver suddenly got out of the car with a knife. Trooper Burchett noticed the man was in distress, having several severe cuts on his throat and wrists. The unstable man tried to attack Trooper Burchett, but was lethargic from blood loss and fell to the ground. EMS was able to stabilize the man and get him transported to a hospital for further treatment.
