In southern Thailand, residents are digging out after a week of downpours that submerged cars and businesses. Malaysia’s northern paddy fields have turned to open water as nonstop rains ruined crops. Relief efforts continue, but with hundreds still missing and millions affected, the region faces a long recovery.
