as posted by the channelA woman was killed when a garbage truck crashed into a car in East Harlem, which sent scaffolding collapsing into the street, on Tuesday morning, police said. The truck crashed into an unattended parked Kia Forte at the corner of E. 101st Street and 1st Avenue just before 6:30 a.m., according to cops.
The impact forced the Kia onto the sidewalk and into the scaffolding in front of 345 E. 101st Street, causing it to crumple and fall on top of a woman who was standing underneath, cops said.
