"He's billions of dollars over budget, so he either is incompetent or he's crooked. I don't know what he is — but certainly he doesn't do a very good job." The DOJ is currently investigating Powell over the pricey renovations to the Fed's Washington headquarters, and served grand jury subpoenas to the bank, which “threatened a criminal indictment related to [his] testimony.”
