President Trump was asked whether or not he would accept the collapse of NATO as a consequence of the United States taking Greenland, something he has repeatedly called for "for security purposes."

"That's a very interesting question. So, I think something's going to happen that's going to be very good for everybody. Nobody's done more for NATO than I have," he said.

"I think that we will work something out where NATO's going to be very happy, and where we're going to be very happy."
