White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt put some daylight between President Trump and homeland security adviser Stephen Miller’s characterization of the death of Alex Pretti. She was asked in her briefing if the president agrees with Miller’s assessment that Pretti, who died during an altercation with federal agents in Minneapolis on Saturday, was a “domestic terrorist."
