as posted by the channelOne Aussie pet owner suffered the unfortunate loss of a pet in one of the worst ways possible -- being eaten by a giant python.
On the bright side, Giffo of Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers was able to make a pretty cool, and educational, video out of the tragedy.
Giffo said the snake would not have to eat for a month after the massive meal, but said he’d take the python back to the bush to make sure the next thing on the menu was not someone’s beloved pet.
“Just another reminder to please keep an eye on your pets and keep them in snake-proof areas/enclosures where possible,” McKenzie wrote on social media.
