White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed questions about why Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was involved in the FBI’s raid on a Georgia election office. Leavitt said President Trump had tapped Gabbard to oversee the “sanctity and security” of US elections and said she is working closely with FBI Director Kash Patel as part of a coordinated, government-wide effort to ensure future elections are fair and transparent.
