11:35Now PlayingSince September, the US military has carried out an expanding series of airstrikes on suspected cartel-operated boats in the Caribbean and Pacific as part of what the Trump administration has described as a war on narcoterrorism. From September 1, 2025 through February 5, 2026, a total of 37 boats were destroyed in 28 separate strikes, with at least 119 people reported killed, according to US officials.
