In remarks following the signing, Vance highlighted Azerbaijan’s role alongside US forces in Afghanistan, announced new US support for naval security, and said the partnership would help strengthen regional peace and economic cooperation following a landmark agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia under President Trump’s leadership.
