2:02Now PlayingOn March 27, a couple in Okefenokee Swamp had to fight off a hungry alligator from eating their lunch by using an oar. As the alligator went to grab something on the ground, the husband hit the object with the oar as well as a bit of the nose of the alligator while breaking the oar on impact. This led to the gator turning around and going back into the water.
