2:14Now PlayingProtests over the killing of 18-year-old Henry Nowak in Southampton escalated into clashes with police on Tuesday, June 2, outside a local police station. Demonstrators reportedly threw objects including bricks and bins, while officers responded with riot shields and pepper spray. The protests followed public outrage over bodycam footage from the December 2025 stabbing case, in which Nowak died after being attacked and later handcuffed while dying. His killer, Vickrum Digwa, was sentenced to life in prison after falsely claiming he had been the victim of a racist assault.
