3:16Now PlayingThousands of protesters marched along Lake Geneva ahead of the G7 summit in nearby Evian-les-Bains, France, carrying banners opposing the gathering of world leaders. Demonstrators chanted slogans against fascism, imperialism and the G7, while signs reading “You will not take our future from us” and a boat displaying a “No G7” sail underscored the protest message. Security has been significantly increased for the summit, with Switzerland deploying 4,000 soldiers and France assigning 8,000 police officers to help protect the three-day event beginning June 15.
