“Open the f-king gate. The gate is supposed to open at 6,” one man standing on the beams of the scaffolding at Ann and Nassau Street shouted around 6:30 a.m.
A sea of orange and blue completely took over lower Manhattan early Thursday morning to see the Knicks’ first-ever ticker tape parade and celebrate their first NBA championship since 1973.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani predicted this week the celebration could be the biggest parade in the city's history.
