Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps threatened to keep the Strait of Hormuz shut and close “all other export corridors that benefit the US and its allies” — as the renewed American blockade intercepted two ships from Iran’s ports.
As the US and Iran traded blows on Wednesday, the IRGC said the strait would remain shut until “the end of America’s evil,” with state media reporting that two ships were targeted with warning shots for attempting to cross the waterway.
