1:21Now PlayingA hydrogen-powered JCB Hydromax blasted across Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats at 406.320 mph, setting a new world land speed record. Driven by former Royal Air Force Wing Commander Andy Green, the 32-foot car is powered by two hydrogen internal combustion engines producing a combined 1,600 horsepower. Green said the car actually had to slow down after hitting its limiting speed during the record runs.
