Brad Cooper released a statement praising the crew’s “resilience” and said the carrier has among the Navy’s lowest number of mental health cases, while acknowledging that “not all is perfect.” His comments come after Maryland Gov. Wes Moore backed around 200 military families who raised concerns about deteriorating conditions and critical supply shortages aboard the ship.
