1:16Now PlayingNew footage from August 31 shows a U.S. Army H-60M Black Hawk launching an Anduril Altius-700 loitering munition during Project Convergence Capstone 6. The test demonstrated a “hunter-killer” team capable of autonomously locating a target, sharing data across the formation and carrying out a strike. The Army said the test is part of efforts to field launched effects that can extend sensing and weapons capabilities deeper into the battlefield without putting crews directly in harm’s way. The Altius-700 has been undergoing Army testing since its first live-fire demonstration in 2024.
