0:26Now PlayingJurors in the Lindsay Clancy trial told a judge Friday that they are deadlocked for a third time — prompting Judge William Sullivan to declare a mistrial in the killer mom case that has captivated the nation.
However, Clancy's defense attorney Kevin Reddington immediately made a last-ditch effort to stop the mistrial, asking the judge for what's called a "stay" of the mistrial.
Sullivan agreed to give the lawyer one hour to seek the stay and stop the case from ending with a hung jury.
