0:12Now PlayingAn electrical fire erupted on the Amtrak tracks at Penn Station Thursday morning, snarling service into the major Midtown hub, officials said.
The cable feeder fire broke out around 11:20 a.m. on the tracks inside the highly trafficked station, spreading to the wall, according to the FDNY.
A total of 26 FDNY units responded, drawing 84 firefighters and EMS workers to the scene, the department said.
