Armenia’s acting PM Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in Moscow for a meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin.

A day earlier Kremlin released a statement saying they will discuss key topics of bilateral agenda, prospects of cooperation in integrational unions in the Eurasian area.

Acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

ARTSAKH ARMY URGES AZERBAIJAN

Despite the recent agreement between the parties, the Azerbaijani side continues to intensively violate the ceasefire regime in various sections of the frontline.

The units of the Defense Army still refrain from retaliation, but are ready to take measures if such a behavior continues. Artsakh army urges the Azerbaijani side to refrain from unreasonable actions aimed at escalating the situation.

The Artsakh Defense Armey also reported about a scuffle between Azerbaijani soldiers and a shootout on Wednesday afternoon. It could be seen how the Azerbaijani servicemen were dragging one of the soldiers, the statement said.

ARMENIA MAN COMMITS SUICIDE IN RUSSIA

Armenian citizen Artyom Grigoryan, 33, on Monday committed suicide at a temporary detention hall in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

His relatives believe that the detention is linked to Grigoryan’s intention to return the 100,000-ruble (approx. US$1,450) he once had lent to an acquaintance.

The Armenian man had left a suicide note, but his 26-year-old wife was not permitted to read it. In addition, the forensic medical examination bureau did not allow her to see his body.

ARMENIA AIRPORTS TO SEE INVESTMENTS

The Armenian government authorized the 2018 to 2022 master plan for Zvartnots and Shirak international airports of capital city Yerevan and of Gyumri, respectively.

In line with this master plan, around $38.2mn investments are planned to be made.
