The delegation led by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will leave for Austria.
According to the decision posted on government’s website, the delegation will be on a visit to Austria on 28-29 March 2019, and Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan will be in charge of performing the duties of PM.
The earlier reports suggest that Pashinyan might meet with Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev. The Armenian PM will also meet with Austrian president on March 29.
The Armenian authorities are acutely aware of the extremely high expectations of the population for change. It is therefore important that the reforms now being formulated lead to concrete and tangible results, PACE co-rapporteurs on Armenia said in a statement summing up their visit to Armenia.
The co-rapporteurs welcomed the reforms being prepared and will carefully follow the concrete implementation.
They called on the Armenian authorities to take advantage of the current very high level of public support to step up their efforts in the field of social reform, including the fight against domestic violence, inequalities between women and men, or the rights of LGBTI persons.

The bill authored by State Senator Anthony J. Portantino to reestablish a trade office between California and Armenia on Monday passed the State Senate Business and Professions Committee.

The bill will establish a regional trade office to promote economic relations in a developing area of the world that show emerging market potential. The regional trade office would be located in Armenia and would serve the developing economies of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. Former Calif. State Senator Jack Scott originally created the trade office, but former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger terminated it in 2007.
The fourth imported measles case has been recorded in Armenia, national center on disease control and prevention reported.
Italy national has arrived in Armenia from Ukraine. The infected man visited many public places and contacted the locals. The center urges all citizens to get vaccinated.
Earlier this month Italy banned unvaccinated children from attending schools.
The topic of vaccination is much discussed in the Armenian society. According to official statistics, the vaccination rate stands at 96 percent.
