A soldier of the Armenian Armed Forces was killed in fire by the Azerbaijani side, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Zohrab Sianosyan (born in 1984) was fatally wounded as Azerbaijani side opened fire on Tuesday afternoon in the direction of one of the military units in Armenia’s southwest.

An investigation has been launched....

Lydian Armenia company employees have filed a lawsuit, said Liana Hovsepyan, a representative of Lydian Armenia company.

According to her, it has been two years since the Amulsar goldmine has been closed illegally, and the employees have been unable to enter their workplace....

The funeral of the 43-year-old woman who was killed on March 5 in Gyumri, Armenia, took place today in the city, Armenian parliament vice speaker Lena Nazaryan, who was present at the funeral, wrote on her Facebook.....

The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 483.03/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is up by AMD 0.94 from Tuesday, CBA reported.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 546.11, the rate of one UK pound totaled AMD 625.86, and the rate of one Russian ruble made up AMD 6.75 in the country.

The 29-year-old man who was diagnosed with coronavirus in Armenia on March 1 is undergoing another checkup. All others with whom he has interacted and who are currently isolated at a hotel in Armenia’s Tsaghkadzor will also be tested.

According to the Armenian health ministry, the patient is currently under doctors’ supervision.

Doctors say there will be another test if the results of the second test are negative. If the results of both tests are negative, the patient will be checked out of the hospital, and the same goes for those under quarantine.

Meanwhile, there have been 4,378 deaths and 121,242 infections so far from coronavirus worldwide. A total of 66,908 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.
