No new dead bodies have been found during rescue teams’ search Thursday in the Hadrut region, which is now out of Artsakh's jurisdiction.
The bodies of 1,371 fallen servicemen and civilians have been retrieved during the search operations ever since the ceasefire was established on November 10, 2020.
Armenia MOD said in a statement that Armenian and Russian border guards are ensuring safety on Goris-Davit Bek road.
As reported earlier, there are heated discussions over the David Bek - Goris road of Armenia's Syunik province which is now bordering Azerbaijan following the Nagorno-Karabakh war.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan - under the pressure of the opposition MP during the parliament session - confessed that there is another agreement with Azerbaijan - apparently concerning the Syunik province borders.
By the way, all the nation knew only about two documents - from November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, while the authorities have been opposing any secret agreements.
The rally is being held in Yerevan against the current government and amid the latest developments over Armenian Syunik Province.
Meanwhile, amid the protests, Eduard Sharmazanov, vice-chairman and spokesperson of the ex-ruling RPA noted that the third president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan will speak in the near future.
“Yes, Mr. President will speak in the near future; mainly on the Artsakh issue,” he said.
According to some media reports, Sargsyan is expected to talk about his resignation statement back in 2018 following the Velvet Revolution in Armenia.
The monument to the victims of the Genocide and the Holocaust in Armenia’s capital Yerevan has been desecrated.
Zarzand Gabrielyan, head of the media relations department of Armenia Police, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that an investigation has been launched.
EU, Azerbaijan have announced a launch of natural gas supplies to Europe via Southern Gas Corridor.
The seventh ministerial meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council was held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on Thursday, after which a joint statement was issued by Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov; European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson; and European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi.
As of Friday morning, 154 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, and the total number of these cases has reached 168,830.
Also, three more deaths from COVID-19 were registered, making the respective total 3,138 cases.
The number of people who have recovered over the past one day is 168, the total respective number so far is 160,838.
