Armenian soldier ended up on the territory controlled by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

According to Armenian defense ministry, the soldier has not oriented on the terrain due to fog.

The statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that the soldier is a saboteur does not correspond to reality.

Captive Lebanese Armenian Vicken Euljekjian is on put on trial in Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijani media, the first hearing will take place Tuesday at the Baku Military Court.

Lebanese citizen Vicken Euljekjian (born in 1979) is “accused of” taking part in the recent hostilities as a mercenary; the “basis” for this is the citizenship of this captive.

In addition to Euljekjian, the Azerbaijani authorities have launched this judicial farce against several dozen other captured Armenians, bringing ridiculous charges against them.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a phone talk with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, and German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

They discussed the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border and Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), as well as the course of implementation of the provisions of the statements by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on November 9, 2020 and January 11 of this year.

Also, the FMs reaffirmed the role of the OSCE Minsk Group in the negotiation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan talked by phone.

There was a long telephone conversation, the sides discussed a number of issues, in particular, the situation in the region and the Armenian-Russian relations.

This is the third phone talk between the President of Russia and the second President of Armenia this year. The previous one took place in April.

As of Tuesday morning, 73 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, and the total number of these cases has reached 223,285 in the country.

But no deaths from COVID-19 were registered in the past day.

The number of people who have recovered over the past one day is 105, the total respective number so far is 214,609.
