YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn this special edition of “Greta Wire,” Greta Van Susteren revisits her wide-ranging interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from “The Record with Greta Van Susteren” from Tuesday, July 7 on NEWSMAX.
Netanyahu delivers a forceful warning about the possibility of the United States selling F-35 fighter jets to Turkey, arguing that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government should not be trusted with some of America’s most advanced military technology. He explains why he believes such a sale could destabilize the region and threaten Israel and other American allies.
The conversation then turns to Iran. Netanyahu discusses the prospects of a new nuclear agreement, the limitations he sees in international inspections and his insistence that Iran must never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. He also describes the damage he says recent military operations inflicted on Iran’s nuclear, missile and military infrastructure—but cautions that the threat has not disappeared.
Greta presses Netanyahu about Iran’s chemical weapons capabilities, its support for Hezbollah and the future of peace between Israel and Lebanon. Netanyahu argues that Hezbollah has been significantly weakened and predicts that Lebanon could eventually join the Abraham Accords if the Iranian-backed terrorist organization is dismantled.
Netanyahu also addresses reports of disagreement between him and President Donald Trump, describing their relationship as a genuine friendship and alliance in which both leaders can speak candidly. He closes with an update on Hamas, saying the group continues to resist disarmament and the demilitarization of Gaza, followed by a tribute to the United States and the shared democratic values of America and Israel.
