as posted by the channelNew numbers show depression is at an all-time high in the U.S. A Gallup poll shows that 29% of adults have been diagnosed with depression at some point in their lives and nearly 18% are currently being treated for or have depression. This is the highest both rates have been since 2015. Dr. Jen Caudle, associate professor of family medicine at Rowan University, says she has recently spoken to more patients about anxiety and depression than she ever has in her 15-year medical career.
