0:55Now PlayingHundreds of people flocked to a small town in Missouri over the past few days to see the body of Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, who died in 2019. Her body was exhumed in April in order to add it to a shrine, and it showed little decomposition. The Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph says the process of investigation for sainthood has not begun, despite calls from parishioners who say the lack of decomposition is a sign of holiness in Catholicism. However, experts in anthropology say the clothing and coffin she was laid to rest in could have helped preserve the body.
