5:14Now PlayingA jury in Florida is awarding $800,000 to a girl burned by a McDonald's chicken nugget. Olivia Caraballo was 4 when she suffered the burn in 2019, when a chicken nugget fell on her lap in the back seat of a car driven by her mother. Lawyers say the scalding nugget was wedged between her thigh and seat belt, causing severe pain and burns. Lawyers representing McDonalds said in their closing arguments that the mother was the driving force behind the lawsuit and that the child wasn't bothered by the injury. NewsNation legal contributor Jesse Weber discusses the case.
