At least 16 colleges and universities have joined STARS College Network, which aims to help high school students from small towns and rural communities enroll in and graduate from undergraduate programs. "On Balance" host Leland Vittert speaks with STARS Executive Director Marjorie Betley about how the program plays into efforts to increase diversity in higher education. "Rural and small town students deserve the same attention and the same access as a lot of their peers," Betley says.
