Estes Thompson, 37, of Charlotte, North Carolina, is charged with attempted child sexual exploitation and child pornography depicting a prepubescent minor. The arrest is in connection with an alleged incident in September 2023, when a 14-year-old girl says she found a phone taped to a toilet with stickers to record a video. She said a male attendant had told her to use the bathroom right after he was in it. John Buric, the attorney for the girl's family, says they are "elated" the man has arrested.
