Now, New York lawmakers are looking to put an end to “reservation black markets,” which operate like ticket scalpers by scooping up many of the city's hottest restaurant reservations. New York State Representative Alex Bores says the legislation would require websites to have agreements with restaurants or risk being fined each day.
