Walmart is the latest corporation to roll back its diversity, equity and inclusion practices, phasing out many of its programs and removing the phrase from all company communications. Massachusetts AG Andrea Campbell is one of 13 attorneys general to sign a letter asking Walmart to reconsider its decision. Campbell says the companies removing DEI programs are doing so “out of fear” and that there is “no legal barrier” stopping them from continuing their practices.
