Israel is blaming Hamas for abandoning proposals to extend the ceasefire, now Hamas and Iranian-backed groups are retaliating. Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis doesn't believe Israel and Hamas will be able to reach another agreement. "It seems as though Israel ended the benefit, whatever they saw was the benefit, to having this ceasefire," Davis says. "I think that we're further away from any kind of a ceasefire now."
