The White House has acknowledged it erred in removing Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was deported last month despite an immigration judge’s ruling allowing him to stay. While the administration admits the mistake, it maintains Abrego Garcia has ties to MS-13 and argues he should not be allowed back into the U.S. ICE has yet to comply with the court order, and officials claim they lack the authority to reverse the deportation.
