as posted by the channelThis week, our case looks at the disappearance of Zyanya Valora. On June 25, 2024, Valora snuck out of her parents’ home in Ojai, California. The then 21-year-old had been diagnosed with autism and had been struggling with anxiety and depression. Her parents say she had snuck out of their house before, but was previously found at a nearby church. Valora's family is growing more fearful that someone may have taken her. Search dogs were able to track Valora's scent on a trail near their home, but lost the scent at a baseball field and parking lot. Now, nearly a year later, the family continues to push for answers about what happened to their daughter, as well as advocating for other missing people in the area. Zyanya’s mother, Damaris Valora, joins NewsNation’s Marni Hughes live to discuss the latest on the investigation, what makes her daughter unique and special, and what she fears may have happened to her.
