Rep. John Garamendi, D-Calif., told “Morning in America” that Johnson “is right.” He said post-9/11 antiterrorism laws provide Trump the authority to act and could be used to justify further military action. Garamendi added that while he’s unclear on Johnson’s specific intentions, he would support efforts to “terminate out-of-date” war laws.
