The FDA is reevaluating longtime warnings on hormone replacement therapy products for menopausal women. Some advocates for change say the so-called “black box” that lists health risks is discouraging many women from undergoing HRT and receiving long-term benefits. “We have got to, at the FDA, get through this remnant dogma and update the label so it’s consistent with the science,” FDA Commissioner Marty Makary tells “Elizabeth Vargas Reports.”
