as posted by the channel

Chef Andrew Gruel, restaurateur and CEO of American Gravy Restaurant Group, joins NewsNation as Americans brace for higher costs after the “de minimis exemption” expired Friday. Until now, packages worth $800 or less avoided tariffs, fueling 1.4 billion shipments last year, most from Chinese companies Shein and Temu. With 92% of all U.S. cargo arriving under that loophole and 73% of it from China, those goods now face a minimum 10% tariff. The only exceptions: letters and gifts worth less than $100 sent by individuals.

"NewsNation Now" is a no fluff, no filler newscast hosted by Connell McShane featuring up-to-the-minute news drawing from a network of journalists across the U.S. Weekdays starting at 3p/2C.
