Saturday marks four years since the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, a moment analysts call the most disgraceful exit since Saigon. The fallout scarred America’s global standing, the Biden presidency, Afghan women now living under Taliban rule and the families of the 13 U.S. service members killed at Abbey Gate, for whom every day is Memorial Day. NewsNation's Joe Khalil has their story.

As U.S. troops pulled out of Afghanistan, veteran Bryan Stern, a 9/11 first responder, rushed in to help. Stern chartered the first flight into Taliban-controlled Kabul and, through his group Grey Bull Rescue, has since evacuated 2,500 Americans, green card holders and Afghan allies. For him, “no man left behind” is more than a motto; it’s a mission.
