15:27Now PlayingThis week on "Missing," Marni Hughes looks at the case of 28-year-old Matthew Spencer, who was last seen more than two months ago. Spencer's family says he was traveling from California to Houston, Texas, looking for a fresh start after a breakup, and on his way he visited his twin sister in Las Vegas. But after not hearing from him, his family grew concerned and began to investigate. His aunt said Spencer told her he was in Cloudcroft, New Mexico — though his license plate was spotted on camera in Flagstaff, Arizona.
A break came when his family accessed his google searches, which included questions about his Hyundai Tucson not turning over, the time in Houston and where am I? His account also revealed the searches came just west of Flagstaff. Now, months later, there’s still no sightings of Spencer or his vehicle. The director of search operations for Missing in America, an advocate group for missing families, joins Marni to discuss why he became involved in the case.
