Fundraisers were opened to provide survivors and families of the victims with financial support, but Sussman says money from these funds went to 29 nonprofits. “To be told 100% of the fund was going to you and to later find out almost two million dollars went to nonprofits … it’s extremely revictimizing,” she tells “NewsNation Prime.”
