2:45Now PlayingAfter less than a day of deliberation, the jury has returned a verdict of not guilty in the trial of former Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) police officer Adrian Gonzales.
Following the verdict, Gonzales was seen giving an emotional hug to his defense attorney. On the other side of the courtroom, families of the victims sat stunned, wiping tears from their face. Some family members spoke to the media as they exited the courthouse late Wednesday night.
