Authorities in the neighboring Mexican state of Sonora say they have not received any formal request for collaboration from U.S. authorities in Tucson in search for Nancy Guthrie.

Sonora’s Attorney General’s Office addressed reports that the “FBI would have requested support” from Mexican authorities in a post on X on Wednesday.
