The panel includes: The Director of the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Jay Bhattachacharya, the National Cancer Institute Director Dr. Anthony Letai, the CEO of The Parker Institute For Cancer Immunotherapy, Dr. Karen E. Knudsen, Former Associate Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration Peter Pitts and Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, who is pressing the FDA to clear his cancer drug Anktiva out of the clinical trial phase.
Chris Cuomo is also joined by cancer patients and a 23-year old activist, Camille Brady, who saw politics get in the way of a bill aimed at young people suffering from pediatric cancer and rare diseases.
