Thursday, a longtime assistant to Jeffrey Epstein offered up three new names tied to the convicted sex offender in a closed-door deposition with the House Oversight Committee. Who is the politician, and who are the two celebrities she claims were guilty of sexual misconduct? Missouri Democratic Rep. Wesley Bell and attorney Arick Fudali, who represents 11 Epstein survivors, join Chris Cuomo to discuss.
The Trump administration believes there is rampant fraud across the country and has targeted Minnesota. Thursday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced criminal charges against 15 people in an alleged $90 million Medicaid fraud scheme. The person described as the “mastermind” behind the largest fraud case in Minnesota history is Aimee Bock, executive director of Feeding Our Future. Thursday, she was sentenced to 41½ years in prison, though she claims she flagged the fraud to authorities and no one acted. What’s the real story? In a NewsNation exclusive, Bock’s attorney, Kenneth Udoibok, makes his case.
Donald Trump said he will speak directly with Taiwan leader Lai Ching-te, something no American president has done since the U.S. and China reestablished diplomatic relations in 1979. Cuomo argues this should be America’s focus because Taiwan controls semiconductor chip manufacturing, a critical component in products Americans rely on daily, from cars to cellphones. However, Trump may face significant pushback from Xi Jinping, who reportedly warned Trump that Taiwan is the most dangerous issue between the two countries. Ambassador Alexander Yui Tah-ray, Taiwan’s representative to the U.S., joins “CUOMO” with the inside story.
Is antisemitism becoming increasingly accepted on the far left wing of the Democratic Party? From antisemitic slurs chanted at increasingly violent pro-Palestinian protests outside New York City synagogues to a progressive congressional candidate in Texas proposing internment camps for Jews, and Hunter Biden appearing on Candace Owens’ podcast despite her history of alleged antisemitic rhetoric, many worry the far left is becoming more tolerant of intolerance. NewsNation correspondent-at-large Geraldo Rivera debates Cenk Uygur, host of “The Young Turks.”
